SWEET ALMOND OIL

Sweet Almond Oil comes from the lush hills of Parma, Italy extracted from a blend of olives which have been growing for centuries in the area and is one of the oldest oils used in skincare. Olive Oil is a rich combination of Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids which will protect and nourish the skin with natural antioxidants. The oil gives glide and protection to the skin during shaving and provides natural soothing after.

GRAPESEED OIL

Grapeseed Oil is extracted from high quality Italian grapes used in the wine making process. The Mediterranean climate makes for stable growing conditions for grapes and ensures the highest quality. The more sunshine the richer the mineral and vitamin content. Sourced directly from the vineyard the PARA MI Grapeseed Oil is pressed and placed in containers within 12 hours of the original grape being harvested from the vine. Grapeseed Oil is super rich in Vitamin E and has a high Linoleic Acid value which makes it a highly moisturising oil with natural non-allergenic properties.

OLIVE OIL

Our Olive Oil is sourced from Italy, where the growing conditions lead to a super mineral rich and historically one of the best cold pressed olive oils of the Mediterranean. Olive oil is a natural moisturiser of the skin and contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E together with proteins and minerals.

AVOCADO OIL

Our Avocado Oil in PARA MI is pressed from the fleshy pulp surrounding the stone and is refined for purity and richness. This oil has thick moisturising properties and is rich in Vitamin A, B1, B2, D and E and is also rich in protein, amino acids and other essential fatty acids. The avocado oil has for centuries been renowned for its healing and regenerating properties. It is reported that it helps regenerate and rejuvenate skin that is dehydrated and undernourished and will help to soften the skin tissue.

COCONUT OIL

The Coconut Oil in PARA MI is refined by fractionation from coconuts. It has many health giving qualities but importantly naturally restores the pH level of the skin to 5.5 without blocking pores. Coconut Oil is used by many as a wonderfully natural way to beautify the skin and is an important ingredient to PARA MI Natural Shaving Oil. The Coconut Oil contains Vitamins A, B and E as well as phosphorus, calcium, iron, manganese and magnesium.

MACADAMIA OIL

Macadamia Oil in PARA MI acts as an emoillient and is rich in Omega 7 and is deeply moisturising. Macademia Oil contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, proteins and minerals.

ARGAN OIL

Last but by no means least comes the Argan Oil. Cold pressed for pure quality and richness. Rich in antioxidants and historically used in anti-ageing products. The oil is produced from the kernels of the Argan tree and is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medical properties. The tree, a relic species from the Tertiary Age, thrives in the environmentally difficult conditions of Southwest Morocco. Argan's anti-aging properties are well documented due to high levels of Vitamin E and saponins (which soften the skin). It helps to reduce wrinkles by restoring the skin's water lipid layer and it also cools and soothes inflammation. Its antioxidant properties contribute to the neutralisation of free radicals, particuarly useful in the polluted Western Hemisphere. It helps cool skin that has been exposed to wind and the sun and also protects it in cold weather which all combine to make Argan Oil a "must have" ingredient in PARA MI Shaving Oil. Note: All Argan Oil bought by PARA MI is produced by a women's co-operative in Morocco which shares the profits amongst local women of the Berber tribe. The co-operative has established an ecosystem reforestation project so that the supply of Argan Oil will not run out and the income that is currently supporting the women will not disappear. The money is providing healthcare and education to the local women and supporting the entire community as a whole.

ANTIOXIDANT

Natural Vitamin E is added as a natural anti-oxidant to prolong the shelf life of the product and provide additional nutrition.
